You're on a boardwalk with fifty places to eat

“This place has everything. Literally — which at first made us a little unsure.”

Brittany

“A little hidden treasure… a small restaurant with a special charm.”

Juan

“The reviews were spot on. The menu is long and the food is excellent.”

Ana

Small room, long menu, tourist strip. Fair reasons to keep walking. Here's what the people who stopped actually got.

What you get

Handmade pasta & truffle gnocchi

Made in house, Italian-sized, not boardwalk-sized. Guests keep comparing it to the pricier Italian rooms off the beach.

Smoked cocktails, tiki drinks, cold Sapporo

A real bar program — espresso and pistachio martinis, tiki glasses, Japanese beer, and smoked drinks where each one has its own twist.

Breakfast on the boardwalk

Omelettes and eggs your way, mimosas, coffee, and the ocean right there. Served from 9:00 AM.

A menu that handles a table of eleven

Pasta, steak, seafood, sushi, burgers, pizza. A group of 11 came through and the menu pleased every palate.

Inside at the bar, or outside for the sunset

A small covered dining room next to the bar, plus patio tables facing the walk and the water.

Ramp, strollers and kids welcome

Guests with a stroller and guests using the accessible ramp both said it worked without a fuss.

“Comparable to some of the pricier Italian restaurants.”

In their words

Wow! This place is amazing. The truffle gnocchi is wonderful, and so is the Why Not burger. There were five of us and not one of us was even slightly disappointed.

My compliments to Julieta and Estefania. They made my experience unforgettable. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly — the meat was so tender, and the mashed potatoes and chimichurri were wonderful.

Byron was fantastic. The mussels were great, the steak and onion rings were very good, and the pasta was divine. We couldn't have asked for a better place to watch the sunset.

How it works

01

Call for a table — or just walk up

There's a menu posted at the entrance so you can read it without feeling any pressure to sit down. If you're a group, call ahead.

02

Ask your server what's good today

Stefania, Byron, Andrés, Julieta, Rocío, Daniela. The staff are the reason most of these reviews got written. Take their recommendation.

03

Sit at the bar, or outside for the sunset

Inside is small, covered and cool. Outside puts you on the walk with the water in front of you as the light goes.

Before you come

Do I need a reservation?
Walk-ups are normal — most guests find the place while walking the boardwalk. For a larger table, call ahead: (954) 239-8075.
Is there parking?
Yes — there are parking spots right out front. Plenty of guests also just walk in along the boardwalk.
Is the food spicy?
Some dishes are, including some of the seafood. If heat isn't for you, say so when you order — one guest specifically recommends asking first.
Are the portions big?
Not everyone thinks so. One guest wrote: "The food is tasty, but the portions are very small; I think my dish, which was pasta, didn't even weigh 250g." The kitchen's own reply: the pasta dishes are prepared following the authentic Italian style, where balance matters more than an oversized plate. Burgers and pizza run larger.
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes — omelettes, eggs your way, and mimosas. Kitchen opens at 9:00 AM daily.
Can you handle a big group?
Yes. A party of eleven came through recently and the menu covered every taste at the table. Call ahead so there's room.
Is it accessible? Are kids welcome?
There's an accessible ramp, guests have brought strollers in without trouble, and it's a family-friendly room.
